Very nice effort and interesting result. The resulting unevenness of the eyes (in terms of light and focus) does not appear to work well here, at least IMHO.

even though its a little OOF, I really like the feel in this picture, between the soft focus and the overexposure, this image gets a very dreamlike feel. Very nicely done!

to me this is a very good example of both the CoC and the ooey gooey BG, I'm going to guess that you haven't done the final edits on this shot as your picture is quite noisier (and that's not your MO) nor does it have the USM that you would usually apply...IMO I would probably crop out a good bit out of the right side of the picture...drawing more attention to the flower...JMO

Very nice and arty. Obvious breaking of the rules and not going for a sharp photo which works but the overexposed right hand side makes it feel too harsh for the soft feel you were going for
