0806 Red Lion Amaryllisby pixelpigComment by mariuca: Nope. It ain't abstract to me. A beautiful shot for sure. Something between a Rorschach test and a kaleidoscope. Has the quality of a stained glass. |

1030209by pixelpigComment by jomari: That's a good trick to gain that perspective. It looks like you were up in a tall building. How hard is it to hold the camera up like that, especially in the wind? I'd hate to think of the camera coming to the ground in a hurry. |

1030174by pixelpigComment by MelonMusketeer: The monopod-elevation thing opens up a whole new world of POV opportunities. This one looks pretty nice, but would be more interesting with
one or two people on the bench. I like the way the tree frames the bench and hides the tower in the BG. |

1030174by pixelpigComment by jomari: That's a lovely flowering tree. At first I though it was bougainvillea, but I don't actually recognize it at all. Those little brown balls all over the ground must be something it drops. |

1030174by pixelpigComment by MargaretNet: I have a similar wooden bench and took some photos from a tall ladder. This certainly improves the perspective! I assume the helium balloon will be on a string - how do you stabilize it? Or do you plan to take shots with a very fast shutter while the camera is flying away? :) |
