Abandonedby SiggavComment by Yo_Spiff: Nice colors and contrast on this. The white bike stands out well against the dark ivy and wall. |

Questionable Recreational Surveillanceby SiggavComment by Siggav: AP - yep it's taken in the same park as the 'early morning light' one. This time around it's evening and I'm in a different part of the park and facing the other direction.
I love taking pictures into the sun and handling the shadows that you get then.
You are absolutely correct as well with the man walking to the right of the bench, I had a shot where he was clear but then I lost the nice shapes in the group on the left (the girl standing up had sat down). This sort of unpredictability is what makes these types of shots fun to take (and see usually) but sometimes it prevents you from getting everything right.
I'm very happy with the shot though and thanks everyone for their comments :) |

Questionable Recreational Surveillanceby SiggavComment by AP: I gave this a 9, definitely reminded me of your 'early morning light' shot which I had fav'd, although I didn't completely remember the image at the time. Beautiful light here. I know its a tiny detail, but I think if the single man walking to the right of the bench was isolated from the tree the composition of the pic would be more balanced. Lovely editing |

Abandonedby SiggavComment by TeeCeeJay: I think black and white, or sepia may have given an even stronger feel that the bike is going nowhere and has been left to rot. Also a little too much Ivy in the bottom of the frame, maybe you could take a step forward and fill the frame with the bike with just a hint of Ivy creeping over the bike |
