Nice topic. The photo could use improvement -- straightening to make the mantel and bricks horizontal, and a levels adjustment to bring out the life in the image. The flash lighting is not working well for this setup. It is too bright on the girl and too dim on the boy. I think some side lighting from a table lamp would help.

It's difficult to grade a photograph of someone's loved ones because you don't want to feel like you're devaluing them. That said, I know you understand this is a photo competition. I feel that you would have translated the concept of Heaven in a far better way for us viewers had you perhaps taken them outside and let them play . . . any number of things for that matter. It's a beautiful portrait however.

Pretty cheesy title. Basically, this looks like a snapshot. Your subjects are too centered and there's too much clutter. It also needs more light. Try bouncing the light off the celing, sealing, see-ling, the roof (sorry, can't spell).

True... Although, I think they should be the angels of the heaven. No arguments there though, that's what you feel, it's ok. Nice photo for a family album :)
