Perfect focus on the eye!! This is just beautiful in every way! You have all the primary colors and the way the body of the bird blends into the background and disappears makes this a true work of art! Almost abstract, but still recognizable. This image has a lot going for it and would make a lovely print.

I am not voting on this one, but wanted to comment. A wonderful photo that tells a story. The lighting is perfect and pose is wonderful and natural. I like the focus and the textures of the tree, skin, hat etc... The out of focus areas really bring him forward and make you feel like you are there. An lastly, who couldn't love the sepia conversion you've done here! Fantastic!
