That bird is called Stanley Viscious, punk rocker Sid's first cousin, once removed.

Good capture, the greens melding together in a nice cacophony of shades and tones. I don't know its name, either :)

Delightful shot of a very handsome bird.

To me titles are a really important part of a picture, and their role can be informative and educational (explaining what something is or how it works) or they can be of a more emotional nature reaching out to draw the viewer in to a scene or story. Encouraging them to empathise with the situation, filling in the blanks in the picture so it's no longer just a bird on a tree but a whole situation that you now feel you know about and care about. With a picture like this you could go for either type of title and I guess the easiest one is to simply tell the viewer what they are looking at.

If the shot was taken at a Zoo or wildlife park you can go on their website and they very often have a list of all the birds and animals on display, (and by the beam it's sitting on I'm guessing this was captive), if it was taken in the wild ook it up on the internet.

You have a lovely shot of a bird here with nice clarity colour, composition and framing . . but it really needs a decent title to finish it off as it deserves :- )

Lol - Your title makes me laugh. It is an interesting bird. My eyes are drawn right to the bright white head feathers. I like the blurred background as it doesn't distract from your focal point.

Shallow DOF works really well here. Good choice of background. May be the placement of the bird could be to the left, so it looks into the picture. The way you have it does not use the empty space to the left of the bird too well. Good exposure and details

Nice compo, great focus, good use if DOF. Complimentary backgroound colors helps this. Plus it is just a cool looking bird.
