Bridge over I-70, framing the Rockies.by jimsappComment by srbrubaker: The idea is interesting. I happen to find the lighting really difficult to appreciate. And I find the left and right, top and bottom quarters of the photo to be uninteresting. I'm not sure my own approach would be better, but it might be worth trying: It's such a long span that I think it would be interesting to use a longer lens and bring the bridge to the top of the photo, Then we'd have cars and trucks passing over the rockies. It could be really striking at twilight when the sky is darkening and the sun is just catching the peaks; the lights would leave red trails on the bridge. Just a thought. |

Bridge over I-70, framing the Rockies.by jimsappComment by cosmic: Nice composition.
I would have waited until there were no cars though. I know it would have taken a great deal of patience, but the cars on the left and on the bridge distract you from the Rockies.
Too bad it wasn't a clear blue sky that day too. Would have brought the colour of the grass, bridge and snow atop of the Rockies more alive.
