Meets the challenge, and it's cool that you share part of your life story in your photo. At the same time, within the context of a dpc challenge, this is a pretty boring type of shot that will not fare well.

Simple, well lit, focus on and contrast works. This does fit the theme but it lacks that "wow" quality needed for a 10. Nice work.
