Hope he knows it's hunting season.by jimsappComment by EyeTrap: avg vote, i like the head and the fur beneath the chin, the rest looks like it just finished swimming through a lake ( damn wildlife not showering before a photo shoot :P ) The shadow from his antler makes his face appear dark. Think would work better landscape as it would flow more with his body shape, looks a little squished in portrait. |

Hope he knows it's hunting season.by jimsappComment by SaraR: Oh, nicely captured! Which acting school did thid deer go to? - he certainly knows how to pose. Wildlife photography is often characterised by shallow depths of field to isolate the subject from its surroundings, but your choice of a small aperture giving the widest possible dof was, I am sure, the right one. The even texture of the grass as a backdrop is spot on, my only tiny, tiny nag is a very small patch between the nose and the left hand edge of the frame which my eye seems to have a fascination with! |

The power half.by jimsappComment by Yo_Spiff: Nice car, but it looks like just a snap from the car show, rather than an attempt at a creative photo of it. |
