This is great, with perfect focus and exposure. The only change I would advise is to maybe change the angle with which you took it? It might add a little more depth and interest to this.

whoohoo, magnesium? i like the shot, and the crop. the border you've included is wonderful, as it's there as an afterthought, more than intruding into the picture. i think i would have liked to see it as just the blue line over the photo as the border, so the sparks could come through. the colors are bright, and your contrast is really well done. capitals in your title to make it consistent would have been good, but it's still a good shot. 6
