Oh, the challenge rules are quite specific about this. You photo must be "taken and post-processed by you. Someone else may press the shutter button if you set up the shot and the camera settings. No one else may post-process your entry for you." The camera was on manual settings, which were adjusted by me at the start. Also the zoom, the angle of the shot, etc. were all picked by me, the person pressing the shutter button was quite specifically told to do just that. I can give you examples of ribbon winners doing exactly this, it's not all that uncommon.
