At DPC, most people are pretty pedantic about focus. You'll also get some comments about using the full 640 pixel size. I like the shapes, but it needs technical mastery to work as an image.

Your forward subject is over exposed causing burn out in the highlights and the back subject is to dark. I don't think the POV is a good angle to capture the mood of this image. Next time try a different angle than a straight on view and improve the lighting. Focus is ok but seems to be off in areas but that may because the picture is so dark. I wish you the best in the challenge.
