Everything leads to the primary subject - the lock - which is not in focus. The impact of the photo is lacking as a results. Things that might help could include a bit of a contrast boost in that area...

Weird and haunting...SO much potential in this. But with some dodging you could have brought out the details on his body. and made him less "insignificant" in his own shadows...if you know what I mean. Maybe a tighter crop from the top and then some lightening of his body...? I think I would even have preferred a colour version so that the Contrast function cold have been used to its maximum advantage.
