P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment by Melethia: I see others have already mentioned it, but I also like the skewed perspective. I shot a LOT with my wide angle in London and I rather like leaving them skewed - not just because it's a pain to fix in post, but because I like the view it gives. |

wk11.jpgby salmiakkiComment by SandyP: Whoa! I missed this on in my comments from last week! WOW! That is downright majestic. Please DO shoot as many photos of Liverpool as possible. Seeing those old, old European cities with so much beautiful architecture and culture is such a treat seeing as how America doesn't have any buildings half that old because it hasn't even been in existence that long. This is beautiful. I love the entire scene with the birds in the water, the contrasting architecture. The water. YUMMY ! ! ! !

wk11.jpgby salmiakkiComment by Ken: This is an interesting building and the detail makes me want to spend some time looking around. I especially like those signs. Add me to the more contrast group, at least for the top half of the shot. |

P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment by twmax: I like this because it is very unlike anything I ever take. Like most other commentors, I like the skewed perspective from this view, and wouldn't change it. The people (and bird) add another element of interest to the photo. Very nice. |

wk11.jpgby salmiakkiComment by twmax: This is a nice scene...there is a lot to take in. I like having the chain fence in the foreground. It adds depth. I look forward to seeing more of your Liverpool shots this year. |

wk11.jpgby salmiakkiComment by trevytrev: What a great building and architecture, it reminds me of a post card. I do notice a dark circle in the sky that might be able to be cloned out and maybe bit more contrast. |

P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment by trevytrev: i like the perspective on this and the feeling that the building is sticking it's chest out so proudly. Nice mixture of street and architecture, well done. |

P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment by SandyP: I am such a fan of scale and perspective in scenes like this. Larger than life landscapes or architecture. I love the feeling that you are seeing an ordinary moment -- but in such a striking place. The old building is so photogenic. It is beautiful as a black and white photograph.
