Impressions of Flowersby quicheComment by Tlemetry: I actually don't mind the hot petals. The rest of the image is great enough to carry it. Besides, it shows the petals soaking up the sun... like solar panels. ;)

Dusty Flower Fieldby quicheComment by MaryO: Usually I dislike OOF objects in the foreground, but these looking kind of scraggly almost provide a fuzzy view of what the other flowers in the field will become. They're all cheery in the sun back there, oblivious to what we see. The sepia suits it perfectly.
