I really like the composition here and the emotions this picture evokes. It would be nice to see the paper have the age to it that the date says it has. It looks like it was written like yesterday. Still, beautiful photo.

Nice setup, and a sweet letter. While the words may be authentic to the time period, the letter itself feels too new... fresh, bright white unfolded paper, and more modern handwriting than I would picture from so many years ago.

Nice concept and choice of subjects. Perhaps a lower shot at table heigth with the letter strongly in the foreground and blurred as it comes into focus near the photo that we're looking up at. as opposed to a full literal shot of three objects all in full view and focus. perhaps a pen too, to take us back to the moment as if it was just written.

This is great, I thought it would have finished much higher. I think if the focus was on his eyes it would have been atleast a six, what a great exrpession!
