US Airways in Hudson Riverby citymarsComment by Germaine: Thanks for posting this. I don't think I've seen the scene from this angle before. Now I understand why they said the pilot landed on the river like it was a runway. (I'm not that familiar with NYC geography.) |

US Airways in Hudson River - detailby citymarsComment by Jutilda: WOW - that whole scenario had "miracle" written all over it. I know the pilot was doing his job, but man, that guy needs some kind of commendation or something. I bet the passengers were sure glad he was the "driver" that day!!! |
