Sunny daysby VpphotoComment by xodiak: This looks like you shot it with a tilt shift lens and I love the effect of a very shallow DOF. It's a good portrait in it's own right but adding such a shallow DOF really brings an interesting dimension to your shot. Well done. |

Sunny daysby VpphotoComment by awelsh: Yikes, overdid it with the background blur... not sure how you stayed within the basic editing rules... lighting is interesting with the sun as fill and fill flash. The pose.. not sure about. |

Sunny daysby VpphotoComment by jerowe: gorgeous model, beautiful pose...is the soft blur on the background done in camera? i surely hope so since this is a basic editing challenge...it falls off pretty quickly, is why i ask. good luck! |

Telephone Rackby VpphotoComment by Haneck: My eye isn't sure where to rest in the photo - the composition is too cluttered. But it looks like you have a very interesting subject to work with. Perhaps there were too many things around it to move however. Next time, try some different angles and camera positions. The bikes don't seem to be doing anything for the picture, see if you can either move them or shoot the photo in such a way that you can crop them out. Good luck! :) |
