Nice capture - Wonderful tones on this - Some of the best I have seen. Great conversion. As for the shadow challenge it certainly has shadows but for the challenge i think they may need to be a bit more pronounced. Still a great simple image. Very nice.

Well composed and the lighting/exposure is right on. I do find the distinct difference between her eyes/mouth and the rest of her face to be a little unsettling. I understand you were trying to highlight those areas by keeping them sharp but IMO it's a tad too much difference between sharp and soft. Good luck in the challenge.
