Polaroid Land 100_01by krnodilComment by caseyface: I can't explain why, but I like the feel of this image. It reminds me of Hyde Park in London, where I grew up in the '70's.
Anyway, I have a few old Polaroid cameras, but I don't use them anymore since the Polaroid film was discontinued. What is silk film? Where can I find it? |

harmony in discordby krnodilComment by PennyStreet: I'm not sure I see threes but I love this picture so I'm giving it an 8 anyway. I'm guessing this has musical implication. (on but then it would have been dis-chord). |

harmony in discordby krnodilComment by KristinaG: I am assuming the three branches are the three elements?
It is a lovely photo, but it took me a little to long to figure out in what way the challenge was being met. I also think that the bottom right branch doesn't take as much importance as the other two. 6 |

Polaroid Land 100by krnodilComment by MelonMusketeer: I had one of these too, with the flip up rangefinder focus on top. It shot a lot of interesting photos for me. I wish that I had been able to keep more of the photos, but life gets in the way sometimes. |

harlequin nightsby krnodilComment by glad2badad: This photo has a fun effect to it. I wonder how it would look with a star burst filter (on lens)? Good luck in the challenge. |

harlequin nightsby krnodilComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Great effect - looks like an intricate mosaic. I really like how we can find sharpness and blur in this image and how those elements are intermixed across the whole frame. The trees themselves offer a great primer for the image - we see the trees but the way the branches act to fragment the image is very effective.
Critical stuff: The dark band at the top of the image - this area doesn't really add much and actually detracts a little from the effect you have created.
Overall: Very effective image. |
