Nice pic. I've seen one of this breed even uglier. He didn't like the bread I brought him, and he chewed on my jeans leg for 10 minutes. (There is a good reason ducks don't have a reputation as ferocious carnivores!)

This shot just doesn't do it for me, maybe its because I don't really like ducks, and maybe because this duck isn't that pretty. The composition is great, the colors could be a little brighter. I do like that the background seems natural and is simple as to not distract from the rest of the picture.

I must apologize for the directness... Had to comment as I've commited to do 100% comments and voting for this challenge.

This felt like a sloppy shot to me.
Looks messy and has a lack of composition.
Could have done better by having a tighter crop, neater knot, and some post processing..

Pretty bird...nice panning shot. Only bummer is that the bird isn't really in focus as you have some blur on the bird. So close! Panning shots are difficult to achieve without blurring the subject. I do like the rich color in the background. It really helps make the white bird stand out. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
