Good idea to photograph a cauliflower, but the background lets you down. It might have been better if you had wrapped it under the cauliflower as well, so you had a smooth transition from "floor" to "wall".

These are not shadows, but rather a silhouette of the moving body parts. Using the flash, only the moving parts, captured when the flash was already off, left the apparent "shadows".

The shadow behind her makes it look like she is in front of a flat backdrop.I didn't find it very appealing in general.
