This shot actually has a lot of potential. I like your background & you could have tried to place the subject onto the background to create a seamless background. Next try to reduce the harsh shadow. Lastly try alternative shot perspectives - 6

Good idea to photograph a cauliflower, but the background lets you down. It might have been better if you had wrapped it under the cauliflower as well, so you had a smooth transition from "floor" to "wall".

These are not shadows, but rather a silhouette of the moving body parts. Using the flash, only the moving parts, captured when the flash was already off, left the apparent "shadows".
