rectangular dreamby mitalapoComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: You stopped and made me look, made me think with this one. As far as I can see this is all about the edit and what an interesting edit it is. Sharpness and blurdom all at once.
Critical stuff: i'm not too convinced by the underpinning image - without the interesting edit I'm not so sure there is too much here to look at.
Overall: although the edit has interest, I'm not sure the image matches it. |

squeakby mitalapoComment by Camabs: Even though you probably were as careful as you could and you most likely released the birdy, this is not my idea of how to photograph animals. On a technical note, the motion blur on the wings is okay, the motion blur on the head ruins the picture imo |
