I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I like the mystery of this image - quite intimate whilst remaining completely anonymous and even discreet. I really want to peek around the door though. I like the distortion on the top of the frame, it gives us a sense of being enclosed. The shoes are a master stroke - in many ways they are the secret to the image; are they there fortuitously or have they been placed. In the answer to that question lies the answer to the story of the scene.

Critical stuff: Nothing really - this defies such triviality

Overall: Made with care. I like that.
