wanted the lens choice to deliver a sense of strangeness. Also, it is easier to snap from the hip with a wide angle. Thanks for your generous words (and score).

p.s. following your comment I have made a less distorted (lens geometry adjusted) version here:

with warmer colors as a bonus.
