the eye tries to sort out the different worlds and the relative distances, and has difficulty, which creates an interesting energy. The disorienting wide angle makes this building seem like a surreal giant robot, or something...

I love a photograph where nothing is right, because it causes the viewer to have to slip the mind out of neutral and apply some traction, or drive, of their own to resolve it. This is one of those discombobulating gems. Thank you.

Excellent perspective. There's a strange imbalance/interplay between the guy staring down and sthe sunlit space beyond. This ties together well in spite of that.

A real sense of environment here - your photograph feels inhabited.
