This photograph works seemingly because of a simple little thing- the girl on the right with what can fairly be called a dance pose. I don't think the photographer even noticed it, but it makes the entire image more than just a snapshot and saves the over dark conversion from being an also ran. Accidental images are the best.

Certainly is different, although I'm not familiar with the whole idea here - I'm sure I'm missing something. It can't just be about the birds. Anyway, nice color, good detail - nice capture.
