Great concept, and this is one of very few photos where I feel the border actually helps the image (go you!)
The one thing that bothers me is the background which varies between splotchy dark grey and smooth black. If that had been uniform I think I would have given this an 8. As it is, its just a bit too distracting for me. 6

This is beautiful. The boat design is amazing -- never seen one like it. I love the reflection in the bottom of the boat. And I really like the processing. Reminds me of what I love about my summers in MI.
