here in australia and possible around the world there are ppl who swim in the ocean in the dead of winter ..
here in Sydney they are called icebergers ..
this guy should join them .. would toughen him up .. lol ..

Focus to me looks too far back, behind the snakes head. I also think you would have been better to work within the challenge and produce an aspect ratio that might have been printed on a book.

Looks like the butterfly and flower are floating in front of the background, detached from it. Not sure what I think of that. Pretty butterfly, though, and nicely detailed.
