HI from the CC and Happy new year! The lighting in this shot is poor and so is the background. Your idea however is good! What your shot conveys tho is that you or subject is very comfortable with snakes vs. phobia of them. I think you could of found a way to display the snake in a way that the lighting and the snake are much more prominant. I also think the shot would of done better if the car on the shelf was gone or moved. Maybe try to take shots outside if possible to get a warmer not so harsh light, or use some side lighting if can. There is also some glare from the light on the snake and the background, try to watch these reflections. Just a few thoughts.. hope it helps... happy shooting!!

One of my favorite plants, and by far my favorite shot of this plant ever. Super tones and exposure. The brightest spot is the upper-most berry. You might to think about burning it just a tad to even things out. Magnificent work! 10

I'm sure he is going to do some ice fishing. I think being a little closer to him and not trying to include so much would of improved the over all shot. The fire/walk are a little distracting.
