Should I Stay Or Should I Go ?by MonaComment by Umber: normally I shy away from this kind of thing, but i love the expanse of blue. brave. nice picture, but doesn't do much to address the challenge, IMHO. Still, great picture. |

Wheelby MonaComment by notonline: I don't know if its the contrast or the soft focus I don't like but one of the 2 is bugging me. It makes the photo appear to be blurry which can naturally happen when shooting wood. It may also be color balance. As for the subject IMO wagon wheels have been over done on this site altho it does fit the challenge. Perhaps a sharpening thru photo shop and playing with the color levels would have improved this shot a bit. I also would have liked to seen the sides cropped more to bring the attention to the wheel and not the wood thats framing it. Perhaps a B&W conversion and contrast adjustment would have also made a difference in this photo. Good luck in this challenge. <5> |

Wheelby MonaComment by photoborn: I must say that I fint the plants in the foreground disturbing. They ditract the eye. The plants by the wheel though are perfect, it could even had been more.....nothing you could do anything about ofcourse! Lovely picture otherwise!! |

Old Beautyby MonaComment by lagavulin: Nice composition and setting. Colours and contrast seem muddier and duller than they should be though ... may be a workflow issue? |

Should I Stay Or Should I Go ?by MonaComment by dockode: I don't 'feel' as thought the bird is making any decision. The photo, which although a very good one, doesn't depict the action of making a decision or request the veiwer to make a decision. The title helps to understand your perspective as the photographer (ie.. what is that bird thinking?) but I don't feel it in the photo. Actually decision making is difficult to depict in animals, their expressions are not as easily recongnizable as a humans. Just my opinion. Otherwise a very nice photo. |

Should I Stay Or Should I Go ?by MonaComment by JunieMoon: The tree is well represented in this pic, but the bird seems hard to see clearly. It is a hard photo to get a nice composition with. Maybe a zoom lens, if you didn't use one, would have helped. |
