Oh, my. Wonderful color in the water and lovely composition. The swan looks a little off-white; I'd desaturate on the blue/cyan range to make him whiter so he stood out even more.

Amazing colours. The crop puts the bird a bit too low in the picture and a bit to centered. I guess you wanted to include the lighter stripe at the top. A tough call.

this is a lovely image, but i'm afraid it's not really a high contrast image. high contrast has a limited tonal range of high and low tones, with very few intermediate tones. the ultimate high contrast is pure black and white, no greys. the more greys or intermediate tones, the less high contrast it is. if the shadows between the ripples were darker, this would approach high contrast.
