Upon first glance, I thought the white horse was pulling him by the hood! Good job capturing a moment of interaction between child and animal. I think the scene could have been strengthened by concentrating on only the interaction between the boy and the brown horse though, as it is a great moment.

This is beautiful in the interaction of the horses and the child. It is clear that the little boy loves the big brown horse and it is reciprocated by the animal. The white one gives him a nuzzle from behind, the expression one of gentleness and desire. This is one of those perfect moment captures defined by both the heart and the eye. Kudos to the photographer who has offered it up to be shared and enjoyed by all.

Cute snapshot. Im sure the relatives/owners of both the child and horses find this extremely cute. However for me, being neither a fan of either I will say the clarity is nice, the composition I don't care for. Too centered with the action. The colours are nicely contrasted and the dof works. Just does not pop for me.

Not my favorite subject matter, but you've certainly given us a beautiful photo linger over. Like the shallow DOF and the detail, especially on the mane and coat.
