Is that bird seed in it's mouth or glare??? In any case, I do find that to be a distracting element in an otherwise absolutely gorgeous picture. Well done. |

Winter Cardinalby rmahanComment by Azrifel: The tonal balance is great an so is the color. It is just that the face is a bit soft (motion?) and the tail a bit oversharpened (diagonal jaggies).
The choice of a wide aperture helps to blur out the busy background and the exposure is just excellent. 8 |
