this is another one of my favorite images in the challenge. i love the shadows and the brick texture. the cut off person adds to the mystery that this image is all about. gave it a 7 at first, bumping to 9

With that out of the way...it's an interesting (and creepy) image. It gives the impression that the cause of the wound lies just in the background where that black crescent mysteriously looms. I think there's a little disconnect between the thumb and the rest of the hand...the tone and texture don't feel like part of the whole, to me. Otherwise, all it needs is a really creepy title. :)
