Cute idea, the selective desaturation works for the image, somehow the image is not dynamic....the picture or whatever it is on the wall is very dark in an otherwise light image, my preference would have been for the locket to be further into the image and perhaps a little bit more depth of field to see more of the parents.

Obviously they pay you civilian types more than they pay us military types. :-) Lovely looking place! You should start a portfolio (if you haven't already done so) showing the before, during, and afters. Might want to pick up a camera so you can take pictures, even. Though sketches should work, too.
