Day Break on the Cheyenneby DJLubaComment by lawless: The depth of field seems limited. I'm trying to follow the river, but the lack of detail in the background makes it difficult. Great composition though. |

Sunday Morningby DJLubaComment by LindaLee: What a gorgeous shot! I very much prefer portraits with a soft quality like this, especially for children and women.
I like this because it almost looks as though she just stepped into your line of view and you snapped the shot. Her eyes, nose and gorgeous little mouth are in focus, and are very expressive, and the softness throughout the rest of the shot just draws your eyes right to her beautiful little face.
I definitely agree with just-married, if she were mine, this would be framed and hanging in the house, the office, the grandparents,....! |

Sunday Morningby DJLubaComment by arpita: This is a beautiful capture. To answer your question re soft portraits, I'm no expert at all on portraits, but if the eyes are sharp, I'm happy. The shallow DOF is great and adds a lot of a portrait by removing distracting details from the background. |

Dinner with Rosemaryby DJLubaComment by Brad: Great composition and subject matter. Lighting and detail are good, rich in color without being over-saturated. Minimal depth of field (yes, a pun - sorry) does well here. ((8)) |
