An auto 8 for a perfect example of KISS. Lighting is just right too.

I think the lighting is fine. It looks like the pine cone is floating in the air which adds interest along with the shallow DOF. Only thing you could have done differently was make it more of a square crop.

Good depth, good shaprness, good texture, but the light is to strong, to harsh, it hurts.
