Pelican and Pier #3by robinssongComment by yanko: The size of the bird in relation to the pier is what makes the photo for me. It almost doesn't even look like he's flying but rather protecting the pier. |

Pelican and Pier #3by robinssongComment by Jutilda: I'm always so amazed when people get a bird in mid flight. Terrific stop action. In a perfect scenario, he'd be up higher and not "competing" with the pier, but wow - the focus is spot on. |
