Swooshby vencapComment by digitalknight: would love to see more dimension in this - my thought is this - this is the angle we all look at elliptical machines with - so the photo doesn't grab your audience because this is what we see all the time! What if the camera was wide angle on the floor right under the Precor logo looking up - we see more of the machine, distorted from the lens, we see the bottom part of the torso of the subject, it's a different angle so it intrigues us, shows us our world from a different place. I'm not saying that is THE shot, but just an example of a different perspective with more dimension, more interesting lines. Hope that helps. |

Indulgence - madam, your bath is drawnby vencapComment by MayaM: Your focus is a bit soft and the pic could benifit from a levels/contrast adjustment because you have a yellow color cast on the image...also nothing about it lends to the notion of "30 Seconds or More" |

Indulgence - madam, your bath is drawnby vencapComment by Dr.Confuser: Might have done better in the Indulgence challenge. Looks like you might have switched challenges at the end. Subject is fine, mirrors are interesting, the photo hints at a story which could be intriguing. But the photo seems over exposed to me. This gives a brassy rather than a golden tone to everything and cheapens the "indulgence" of it. Further, there are some great shadows here but the exposure washes them out. I hope this doesn't sound overly negative. Just my opinion. |

Indulgence - madam, your bath is drawnby vencapComment by Artifacts: Decent concept for the challenge. Sharpness soft but that is common in longer exposed lower light level images. Composition is OK. This has a yellow and reddish color cast that can be corrected with curves and/or hue saturation adjustments if you wanted to. Some folks like the golden color the cast, some don't. |
