It looks like you've used a long lens and cropped the photo stretching the pixels beyond their limit. I don't know, that's just a guess. I think if your photo would have had a wider view, it would have been perfect. Like some of the other photos in this challenge, the subject seems to be something other then the actual fence. The photo is not bad at all and your lucky to live or have been somewhere to see this kind of thing.
