Great texture but I find that there is a bit to much contrast. I've never used topaz so I can't leave you any suggestions.

Contrasting textures. The soft/harsh/straight lines of the feather vs. the rounded, just a bit angular shapes of the broken (what is that?) shells? glass? and sand. Beautiful way to show textures. I think texture photos work when the viewer can feel the picture, as if she were touching the surface with her hands. I can do that here. Beautiful.
