Nice mix of textures and surprisingly sharp given the slow shutter speed and very small aperture. In absolute terms, maximum sharpness is better at about f/8 or larger. Diffraction around the lens iris can significantly degrade resolution with f-stops of f/11 and smaller. Of course, sometimes the need to maximize dof overrides the diffraction issue.

Looking at the thumbnail I thought it was a freshly sawed off part of a tree .. then I opened up to a lovely textured piece od metal .. life is so exciting and filled with treasures if only we are on the look out for them.
