Wonderful Halloween portrait. My only criticism is that it is a shame that the guy with the black shirt is in the background. It may have been more effective if more children would be able to be seen. Nice job.

Very cute little girl - great clarity in the details and the eyes. The colors and skin tones are excellent. Now that said it is a great portrait shot but it doesn't scream Halloween 100%. I do see the two boys dressed in costume on either side of her but they are not the main focus/subject of the shot; the little girl is. I think if you took the shot on the vertical that we, the audience, could see the trick or treat bag/pumpkin in her hand it would have more strongly associated the photo with Halloween.

I like this. Not really buying into the "distractions" as I think they are mostly minute background elements that don't seem out of place. I guess "technically" it works (for the challenge theme), lucky for you it's a nice photo. It's something I could see framed on a wall. :-) 8

I don't mind them a particular distraction, since they are nicely blurred, with the focus on the leaves. Maybe the shaded border though. :)
