Tail Spinby JacquiDComment by redmoon: cor! too much colour noise, purple fringing and grain on this, probably artefacts left over from a high ISO setting... i do sympathise; if indeed it was moving (though, to be honest, it looks like it might be resting on a bit of blu-tak underneath) i would imagine getting a stop motion effect at a macro scale to be a right sod. must say, the table surface is not a good choice for this sort of shot either; a piece of white glossy photo paper would probably improve things... 3. |

Tail Spinby JacquiDComment by glad2badad: Well, as long as there isn't any bubblegum under the coin, you've stopped the action. ;^) Couple of things going on here. 1) DOF is too shallow IMO for this. 2) Image is noisy, especially the top third. 3) Subject is centered and (nothing personal here) a bit ho-hum. The reflection on the table is kind of cool. Good luck. |

Tail Spinby JacquiDComment by KHolt: Nice shallow DOF, I'd personally like the DOF to capture the lions face as well. The slighly hot spot at the front of the coin is offputting with the bright purple edges. Finally, I'd love to know if this is a coin capture 'mid-spin' or just propped up behind. |

Innocenceby JacquiDComment by redmoon: i like the black and white, the closeness to the subject, his demeanour and cuteness, and the water on his furry head. it is let down overall by being not sharp enough, and in terms of composition i thik it would be more visually pleasing if he was a bit lower down. still undeniably cute though. 5. |
