Composition - I feel very fortunate to be able to do this shot as I really enjoyed it the first time around. Composition - This faceless, nameless inanimate subject comes to life in this very poignant picture. I think the lighting is great the framing is great, the subject is great. The position of the "hands" sells this shot even though the head and body posture are very lifelike. The very tiny square it holds is precious and you've portrayed this very very well. I like that the focus of this challenge is a square, and the focus of the figure is the square as well. In composition alone, this was easily my favorite picture of the challenge.
Photography - I can't believe you took this picture at ISO 400 and its this clear. My cam would've left this quite noisy. If you could have shot this at F8 I think you would've added at least a half point, if not a whole one, to your score as the DOF would've been much greater and more of the pic would've been in focus.
Processing - I might've tried to sharpen this one or two times to see what would happen, but I don't think it would've been enough to make the pic as clear as it needs to be.
Overall - I loved this shot when I first saw it and still do. I wish it was clearer, but hey, they can't all be perfect all the time. You really matched the title to the pic and I get the feeling that this tiny white square is precious to the faceless figure. It is a very very well composed picture and I wish you would've had more time to work on it because I think it could truly be an outstanding picture. Thanks for sharing it with us on DPC and good luck in future challenges - Bob
