Comment by Imagineer:
The right side is too overexposed, and one feels that this area is more relevant than perhaps was intended. I would have shown less of the outside, and maybe taken it from lower down to create some form from the bottom of the railing, although this may have reduced the angle on stairs too much, so even higher might be better. Nice textures and an intriguing item hanging by the door - what is this? [6]

The right side is way over exposed and has lost all detail. Try focusing there or somewhere in the black railing to get a better exposure. Also - there's no subject of interest in the photo. It's not nice to look at it.

This is unfortunately one of the hardest kinds of pictures to take effectively. The exposures inside to out are so different, one of them is going to be messed up somehow. The outside is definitely overexposed, the inside is very good with nice colors. One of the few pictures that actually meets the topic.

Okay, I'm curious. Weights on a pulley or something to shut the door after you enter?? Interesting shot. Nice rich tones on the door and jam.

We don't seem to really be looking out, though - the door and door frame are in focus and vivid color. "Out" is a railing leading into a land of light blast, the details of the (lawn? driveway?) blown away by the much brighter daylight, and given only a second-place billing at the edge of the frame, with the door and doorframe earning a much stronger, more central place, and cementing that place with their vivid colors and interesting, clear details.

The beautiful color red and the unusual door workings make this one stand out from all the rest. Nicely done.

Hmm, interesting contraption. However, the title of the topic is Inside looking out. Perhaps making the door more of the subject by standing back a little and taking a nice landscape pic of most of the door and some inside surroundings would have been effective as I really like the wood. Well done, Good try =)

A little overexposed on the right side but otherwise a good shot. Like the way the red stands out. Good luck.
