Great shot!! I think the solid background made this work. I dont think I would have liked it as much if any land were showing. Makes me think the poor thing is way out at sea looking for a sailboak mast to lite on.

Nice placement of the gannet within the shot. Overall, the image is a put too soft. A sharper head and a sharper horizon would have added to the photo.

Funny marker. It's too bad the type is a little hard to read. Not sure what you could do differently with this pic, but the dirt and few blades of grass aren't helping this much. I wish there was something (flowers maybe?) around it that could brighten this up a bit. Maybe black and white would've worked better...I dunno.
