Timeout for Tanningby B74AComment by photom1946: one really has to look to notice that bird. the eye is drawn to the lightest point in a photo-the clock in this case. then one has to look for the bird. nice idea, but poorly created. |

Perfect ring of airby B74AComment by B74A: Originally posted by Kacwood: Ok, I am very interested in your trick. How did you do the "rings"? THX. |
Hi Kacwood,
It is not so hard to do.
Lie in a pool where the water is calm - the calmer, the better. For best results, have a weight to keep you down, depending on your boyancy, both for comfort but also to avoid to stir the water by the movements you need to do to keep you down.
Lying on the bottom, face up, make a small, powerfull burst of air with a "round" mouth, like a trumpet player does (I played the trumpet for 5 years ... a long time ago). I found this by chance - don't ask how/why! - but I was amazed by these rings myself. I find it relaxing to lie still on the bottom of a pool, so I must have been really bored to figure this one out.
Let me know if you manage :-) even better, have someone take a photo of you and see if you can do it better than I did ...

Heaven2Ocean - H2Oby B74AComment by puzzled: Gorgeous shot, KÃ¥re! The colors and dew make it over the top special. I didn't vote on this challenge at all, but kind of surprised that this didn't do better. I bet you've got a ribbon in your future :-) |
